Welcome to A Bun’s Life – Meet the Buns!
Hi and welcome to A Bun’s life! We’re so excited to finally launch this blog as a space to share more about life with our rabbits — from everyday care tips and enrichment ideas, to the fun (and sometimes messy) reality of living with three bunnies.
If you’ve found us through our social media (@ronnietheminilop) — hello again! And if you’re new here, we’re so glad you found us!
This blog is all about sharing what it’s like to have house rabbits — the sweet moments, helpful tips, bunny care advice, and everything we’ve learnt along the way. But first, to kick things off, meet the bunnies who inspired this blog and who will be at the centre of everything we share.
Meet the Buns!

Ronnie
Ronnie is the OG bunny that started it all — the first bunny that made me a bunmom and the reason I created our Instagram – @ronnietheminilop. He is lovable and cheeky but can have some grumpy old man moments! He has a serious passion for food, with favourites including pak choi, dill and dandelions!

Daisy
Daisy was the second bun to join our family and it was love at first sight when she met Ronnie. She is the complete opposite to Ron and can be anti-human at times — unless it’s on her terms, then she will happily come and sit by you wanting a fuss! Over the years she has gradually come out of her shell, even more so since the latest addition joined our family…

Willow
I think Willow has not only touched our hearts, but also the hearts of many of our followers. We rescued Willow back in August 2023, after she was dumped at the side of the road by her previous owners when she was around 8 weeks old. Our vets called us to see if we could find anyone that could rescue her, and as soon as I put the phone down, I knew it had to be us. She had an awful start to her life and now she’s a pampered little princess. She’s so inquisitive, loves to zoom around and binky. Plus, since she’s been bonded with Ronnie and Daisy, Daisy has come out of her shell even more and has become a wonderful motherly figure to Willow.
Where the Buns Live

Ronnie, Daisy and Willow have free roam of the downstairs of our house, which is fully bunny-proofed. They also have their own room in what was our dining room, which we’ve designed just for them. Even though they are free roam, they usually like to spend most of their time here, and they have just their room at bedtime or when we’re out of the house.
Their room is packed with lots of enrichment, cosy napping spots, and plenty of places to explore. We’ll be sharing a full Bunny Room Tour in our next post — complete with lots more photos and ideas for anyone looking to upgrade their indoor bunny space!
